Colleen & Tom’s Wedding day
This was my very first wedding shot at Mar del Cabo so I was beyond excited. There is something beautiful and thrilling about the first time you take photos in a spot. Everything seems fresh and creativity just explodes! I definitely loved the new colors. There is so much white and blue that looks gorgeous mixed with the pink flowers everywhere. It almost felt like a piece of Greece had fallen into Cabo.
I saw the bride and groom a day before the wedding. This way we could meet each other and have little photo session. One of my preferences as a photographer, I feel it all flows so much better on the big day! And it was certainly a big one!
My heart will always treasure this wedding in a special way. I sit in my computer after weeks home as a result of the world situation developing in March 2020. Pondering whether I should post this wedding now, whether I should write about the current situation, about everything. I can´t seem to detach the whole thing from this wedding. It was the last wedding I took photos of before everything started here in México and it is the wedding that I edited while in isolation. These are the photos that kept my mind focused on love. Looking at Colleen & Tom´s smiling at each other, all their friends and family so happy for them. These photos where the one thing that certainly helped my heart believe that one day… we will celebrate love again.
